Registration is filling up for our 13th Annual East Bay Women's Conference on Monday, March 5, 2018. Early registration is $225 per person if purchased by December 15 and $250 thereafter. With keynote and guest speaker presentations, breakout sessions, exhibitor booths, networking, continental breakfast, gourmet lunch, afternoon reception & more, this year's conference is sure to be a sellout. The Chamber's Education committee hosted its 14th annual middle school ethics day,"#WhatWouldYouDo?—Ethic Fails and How to Avoid Them," on Friday, December 1. Over 50 Walnut Creek middle school students gathered at Walnut Creek Presbyterian Church to take part in the program's interactive exploration of various ethical challenges facing all of us today. Thank you to the business representatives led the student groups, and the high school students who helped facilitate discussion,and thank you the generous support of our sponsors!
Hospice East Bay is proud to be celebrating their 40th year as a pioneer hospice serving our community.The Tree of Lights ceremonies have provided a way for families and friends to honor their loved ones. People who attend a ceremony find solace in the symbolism of an illuminated light as the names of their loved ones are read. These ceremonies help Hospice East Bay raise the funds necessary to provide a high level of care to everyone who needs it.
