Catharine B. Baker
Catharine Baker is a former California State Assembly member who represented the 16th Assembly District from 2014 through 2018. She is a Commissioner with the California Fair Political Practices Commission, which administers and enforces California’s landmark government ethics laws. Catharine is Special Counsel at Hoge Fenton, where she advises businesses and non-profits and practices election law.
Lisa Tucker
Lisa Tucker is president of the Tucker Group, a consulting firm that provides strategic political and communications consulting services for candidates, initiatives, advocacy groups, and businesses.

For 34 years Leadership Contra Costa has been helping identify and prepare community leaders. With an alumni roster of more than 700-800 graduates, including former Mayors of Walnut Creek Loella Haskew, Cindy Silva and Kathy Hicks, former Assemblywoman Lynne Leach, former Concord Mayor, Lou Rosas; Martinez Mayor Rob Schroder; and Ret. Superior Court Judge Harlan Grossman, this program has proven to be an asset to the community and society.
The class members have also included Jay Lifson from the Lafayette Chamber
and Steve Van Dorn from the Pleasanton Chamber. As the Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau expands the emphasis on regional collaboration, Leadership Contra Costa provides a unique opportunity for furthering this effort.
